The front suspension are leaf springs. For this monster no springs are buyable.
First step are the holders for them. Aluminium 25x10mm some holes ![]() sawed with the small tablesaw ![]() ![]() ready for the springs ![]() ---- the springs are from ![]() these tapes are easy cutable with a manual metal shear ![]() drilling is more challanging, but at least its done ![]() Bending and preforming was easy with heat. Spring steel losts his tension and you can form the eyes simple with pliers. Preforming needs a support with screws in the right distance. ![]() heat up and when its hot enough you can see the lost of thetension . after cool down the spring holds this form but is still springy. ![]() mounted ![]() with more progress on the cabin, some leafs will added.

hi. i'm back from holidays
![]() Next step was the articulated joint: Two pieces of aluminium marked ![]() slotted ![]() milled ![]() ![]() ![]() holders ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() works fine so far ![]() as you see, at this stage the plan was a 4x4.
