Re: Wrecker `s
Hey bud, you gotta remember that it is YOUR truck! Do whatever you want with it you know? Sure we can pick at it and give you ideas but the only way to do it right is to follow your vision for what you want the truck to look like. If you do that then you will surely be happy with the end result. Of course we will give you suggestions but remember in the end that it is your truck and none of ours. Good luck!

Re: Wrecker `s
Paul, Most of the wreckers that make it to the shows seem to be Wedicos. Their wrecker bodies are very hard to beat for accuracy and function. Sure they are expensive but you get a great looking and working truck.

Re: Wrecker `s
Very nice wrecker build! I like how you hid the screwdrive underneath with the great looking cylinders to the boom. Nice details on boom and carrying bracket. After seeing the pictures and video, it amazes me how you get all those steering axles to work with the different angles of turn for each position.

Re: Wrecker `s
WOW!! I wondered if anyone would put their wrecker builds on after this thread started. That looks like it was a kit and not a scratchbuilt body. Very impressive.

Re: Wrecker `s
I'll be working on mine soon the truck is almost done basically needs paint . I believe it'll be the most complex 1 built yet ( I could be wrong though )

Re: Wrecker `s
Nice wrecker - I think the aremax is a good choice for service trucks. I do like the hidden screw thread idea - I'm a big fan of screw drives! I also like the styrene work. How did you get the door lines and latch details?? I have a lot of trouble making straight door lines.....
Thanks Chris |

Heres a few pics of my old wrecker. Started off as a "complete kit" wedico.
This is the way it sat when I bought it. and this is how is ended up. |
