Z? Good grief! Those are about half the size of N scale, I think.
 I've seen some nice N scale coffee tables layouts, under glass. Something like a 24x36 or 48" table will easily fit a nice loop of track in N scale. I believe N scale is 1/160 scale. HO, 1/87 scale. Just for comparison sake.
