Looks alot like my set up, I used coaxial power connectors on mine, I almost used audio jacks but found out that they can sometimes short out the circuit...

Heres my set up, one is for my tarp and the other two are for the rear lights (one hot wire, the other three wires are negatives for, left, right, and running lights)
