Default Re: CABIN FEVER EXPO APRIL 2013

From all of the people i have talked with on the phone it sounds like there will be a few excavators, a few front end loaders and plenty of dump trucks..we just need a bull dozer or 2 and a roller then we would be all set to make some roads..

Seriously though..this show has the potential to be the Coolest and biggest indoor "real dirt" RC Construction Equipment show in North America if everyone would embrace the opportunity. The area that they provide us is huge and give is as much dirt as we ask for. AND the spectators on Saturday just love to sit and watch is run. It is usually 3 people deep around the digging area with spectators and Saturday.

Steve (9W) and myself show up on Friday afternoon when they bring in the HUGE pile of dirt. We shovel and stomp the dirt down to make roads and a flat spot for his large drag line.

Last years dirt was Terrible! It was a bunch of tiny stones mixed in with the dirt and was bad for tracked vehicles. Hopefully it doesn't stop some people from coming back again..So, that is our only stumbling block is to know what kind of dirt to ask for and they will provide it.

The dirt the year before was awesome. Can they get us that dirt again Steve (9W)?
