Porte Engin Agricole (low loader)
Made this trailer a long time ago to pull behind my MB, decided to finally finish it with a few modifications:
New tyres arrived so spent the last couple of afternoons on the lathe: This is what I'm roughly aiming at: Quick mock up: Waiting on bearings and other stuff to arrive now. Thanks for lookin Stu |

Re: Porte Engin Agricole (low loader)
Very Nice trailer. I like the attention to detail such as the tilt and ramps.
Très bien! |

side extensions are done and the feet for the ramps: first video with load, operator needs more practise lol and the tractor needs more weight up front although it is trying to pull 16kg (35 lbs?) up hill on a loose surface! cheers Stu |

Re: Porte Engin Agricole (low loader)
Fantastic work on the equip trailer Stuart.
BB's in your tractor tires may help your traction problems somewhat. The caliber air rifle metal BB I showed a picture of in another thread is 4.5mm. If you could find a smaller caliber, that would be better as you could pack more in to get more weight & tighter pack.

I went to the local hunting/fishing/shooting shop the other day but all they had were the plastic ones, so I got to thinking what else I could use and remembered that I had some steel shot blasting grit. So I've filled the tyres with the grit and its added 5Kg in weight Total tractor weight is now 10.2Kg, not sure if thats overkill and whether or not it will harm the gearmotors/speed control or affect its pulling capacity and or battery run-time. Waiting for it to stop raining now so I can give it a go. |

Re: Porte Engin Agricole (low loader)
Really a nice trailer build. Did you make the airbag suspension or where did you get the airbags, themselves?
