THESE FUSE HOLDERS ARE AVAILABLE AT ANY AUTO PARTS STORE FOR ABOUT 3 BUCKS. IT WOULD BE EASY TO INSTALL BY CHANGING OUT THAT SHORT RED JUMPER WIRE IN YOUR TERMINAL STRIP BETWEEN THE BATTERY INPUT AND THE WIRES FEEDING OUT. ON MY EXCAVATOR I HAVE A 10 AMP IN AND HAVE ONLY POP'D IT ONCE WHEN I HOOKED A BIG ROCK!

Yup, I know what you are referring to steamer, thanks.

Who is familiar or attending the event cabin fever in York, Pa? I'm going there this year, as a spectator or maybe exhibitor. ?? Is this a place to "play" with the toys or more for just showing them? I know the big dragline was there working but would things like my dozer or ex be welcome? I don't know much about this so any incentive or help would be appreciated. Thanks. .

What where we telling you last year ?? "toetap" . Of course bring your equipment . We're trying to expand it to mimic the European shows each year . It's the same fee as a spectator or exhibitor . It's really the only show I look FWD to each year .

Uhhh, yes, I have been know to be hard headed and a little slow . Lol!! Thanks I know it's a couple months off but planing with what to bring and what is running starts early. So the dozer, hoe, dump trk and the yellow semi would be good to bring? I think with that I probably would still walk away with the comment , ya know I never did get a chance to walk around and see what else is here I would be having too much fun trying to discharge batteries as quick as possible .

So is it like first come first serve? As far as setting up a "pit/show" area? And is electric supply available? Just for charging batteries?

I was there in 2012, the last yr it was held in January.

http://www.rctruckandconstruction.co...ead.php?t=3662

Yes to all your questions above - designated area for the rc group, ac power provided, bring as many of your models as you like, there's tables provided for you to sit down & do any last minute adjustments (bring your own tools)...

I flew in to Allentown, Pa, Smallhaul picked me up at the airport & chauffeured me around for the wkend (thanx buddy), I had a Blast, it was a great show to attend. But now that the dates have changed to mid April, that's about when I get busy with a new farming season.

I do remember from a earlier post of yours joe, that I have quite a few events that are in local driving distance. Local as in I don't have to spend night distance. I will start attending them .

Here is a simple video of first oil.
http://youtu.be/WqLC4ramVpA

I have another one of tracks running, have to upload it. But before anyone says it's way too fast, yes I know, I have a hot rod excavator, I'll post soon.

Hot rod excavator lol. I had controls hooked up but a bit wrong. I did change the control pattern to sae (cat). So now I definately will have to put a couple hours of indoor excavating in. ( i.e. Litter box ). Still a bit of work to do. If not finished by cabin fever time it will at leas be working naked. I still have home garage time before real work kicks in so shouldn't be a problem not having logos and new paint ready to be oiled and scratched up.

Just put her on scales rtr she will be A bit under 50 pounds. I was hoping to get in the area of 55-60 but using aluminum and not steel. There is room in battery are to place 1x2x8" chunk of steel if I use the single 8400mah battery. Wonder how much that chunk would weigh? (Have to use calculator for that)

What ever you want . We just need to know how many ppl will be there . Talking to the guy who puts on the whole show last year, wants us to expand so he's very accommodating . The arena folks give us an issue about the # of electric drops . Benny and I will figure that out as we get closer . We're trying to get the 1"scale train guys in on this to , we'll see

Inbuilder, I'll be there this year, Friday is set up? If so I'll be there then. Or I'm sure we will be in touch before. I'm thinking I will only need one outlet, for charging batteries. But I'm sure I woulnt need it for more than 10-15min at a time. I charge the bats I have at 20 amps, makes quick time of charging

Yes he is quite the house runner!! He knows where the one plant that is a hanging basket is in the master bathroom, runs there all through house and digs in it!! Then will take laps on top the couch and behind, back to kitchen, grab a nut and head to the top cabinets!! Yes I have the step stool never put away because I have to catch him or suffer the nut debris left on top the cabinets. Long pants and sweatshirt whenever cage is open. He actually plays with my hands, bites fingers (not hard but like a dog play bite) and jumps and just flips out!!! Usually try not to handle the wild animals too much but he is not able to be released till warmer weather and needs to run.

Ugg, ya know its time to stop before parts go flying,,,, I was making the contacts for fan in hood. Making it held on with magnets and brass contacts for power to hood. No wires when removing hood to change batteries. And I don't have m2 taps so I was guessing at hole size. First was too tight, second was snug. I was just screwing a screw in without tapping, it's plastic so no biggie. But I knew it was tight and figured I would toss the threading screw afterwards. Well one more turn before bottoming out the head and then the head stripped!!! Dahamm!!! I knew I should have drilled one more time bigger!! Now the part that I had about two hours into figuring out and machining is junked!!! Ohh I hate that when you know you should be doing one more thing and try to shortcut!!! Well next part wouldn't take as long and probably be better as I know what I want!! Uggg!! Time for bed !!!

Just watched the video of the excavator track drives...
no excuse for being late to the job..
what motors did you use ?
I want to speed mine up a little as the stock ones are too slow. I guess you can change the end points to slow it down a little on your motors.
I also like the tubeing on your arms , much nicer than stock .thats my next job on mine.

cheers andy
