Default Kingworth T404 SAR

Hi guys n girls,
I've been looking around this awesome forum for a while now and thought I'd better contribute to it.
I haven't been building very long so I'm not as good as a lot of you. There are so many great builds on here, so here goes (I hope this works)

This is the truck I am replicating (hopefully). It is an ozzy Kenworth T404SAR. I drive this truck for a living.

This is what I started with.
Shortened the sleeper.

Cut off the hood

The hood the right shape

Sleeper roof and mouldings started

A few holes filled, sleeper doors and tool boxes redone. Couldn't help myself, i had to see what it looked like with the stacks and grill on.

I wasn't happy with the way the sleeper doors looked, so I changed them

Added the air intakes, sleeper steps and grab rails, also repositioned the blinkers

You're off to a good start. Nice homemade details.

A few detailing pieces.
DG placard and decals made by me. Driving lights by RC4WD. Badges, aerials and headlights by PMD, lit up by Tamiya MFU.

Aluminium tanks plus tank straps by PMD, steps from the kit. I had to purchase a second set of steps to go on all 4 tanks from good ol' Ebay

Working suzi coils running from MFU. Used 3.5mm headphone plugs from local electronic store to connect to trailer.

They are a tuff truck. They are an ozzy work horse. Na no front fenders getting done. This build is pretty much done (although there is always something to do on it)
