for the scale it looks fine as long as you cant rip it by pulling its good you still have a few raps left on the bar to cover a crowned load?? |

![]() ![]() ![]() You can tear this if you pull on it firmly by hand but I don't see it tearing under normal use. I will try to see how expensive the material Keith used on the Mack is before I say this is the answer. I just want to keep it simple because I don't really have any interest in making the actual tarp itself. I don't sew nor do I want to invest in a sewing machine. I'm a metal guy... ![]() Last edited by RCP57; 10-18-2015 at 02:27 PM. |

Well, better than country music.
![]() I think the fabric works great and plays the part well. I wouldn't worry about the see through effect. Keep in mind, the box is a light colour and shiny. Who covers an empty trailer? Put some dirt in there and then see how it looks. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() And your right. If people don't like the fabric, they can change it. You've still provided all that's required to run a tarp of their choice. Last edited by Supermario; 10-18-2015 at 05:41 PM. |

My wife said exactly the same as you about covering a trailer full of dirt and not seeing through the fabric. She's a smart girl. Not sure what she's doing here actually. ![]() Yes I have Brandon. It was actually the first thing I tried but it's a bit thick for rolling up 30"+ of tarp. It is cheap and stronger than the landscaping cloth though. |

Whatever Keith used on his DM800 dump worked well. I think he wrote it in his thread. He did, bathing suit material from JoAnns fabrics.
