![]() Also the reason why you paid more in shipping was due to the weight of the excavator and the fact that it was on a pallet. How much more quiet is it from your 4200xl? |

A full option 960 perhaps... but a stock no frills 960 YOU assemble yourself quite likely less than half that.

true enough. but even at half that.. yowch... i thought my semi trucks and 5th scale cars were big money, until i saw hydraulic stuff lol. i'm working on a huina loader conversion, and even that's not cheap. but i guess you gotta pay to play with the big boys. i'm a fan but not an investor, 15 grand will get me the 55 chevy i've always wanted, granted i'll have to put more in it, but at least it will go up in value hopefully

The Cab cannot be pinched together because it is already glued, preventing it from being squeezed, and glued. David |

Hi David, congratulations on your new machine. I think you paid too much for the shipping services. I remember my ScaleART was delivered to my office by UPS 2 months ago for only 600 euro plus $59.87 duty & taxes that I have to pay here in CA. My package is about the size as yours or a bit bigger 47 x 21 x 22 and I have to bring the mini van to drive it home

As far as sales tax, you're not supposed to pay sales tax for goods coming in from outside the US. Are you referring to customs brokerage fees, not tax or duty? |
