This is gunna be an awesome truck, I can't wait to see it all together.

If you don't mind my asking, where did those front fenders come from? And how were they made? Cast, machined? If you can't share that I understand.

Love the grill, is it covered with Bare Metal foil or did you paint it?

Dang Ed, that grill is awesome! All the rims...and real working air bags? Wow. This truck is going to be killer. I can't wait to see some photos of it coming togther. All the bits and pieces are nice on their own, but combined, it's going to be crazy. Can't wait to see the progress. On those air bags, did you order them from over seas? Got an air pump or anything else for them? Making your own suspension, I take it? Sorry for all the questions! Just really interested in this build. Seems everytime I log on, there is somebody pushing the bar higher and higher. I think this will be one of those types of builds!

Thanks Fred I appreciate. Nathan the bags came from Germany got no brackets I guess there it a sign on my fore head that says Stupid but me shell see. I have two air pumps one for the tractor and one for the trailer with solenoids to dump the air. Back to the parts those aren't all the parts I still have more was going to take pictures but was working on the dump trailer. I'll try to take them tomorrow. I am not to happy with the rear ends I got so I am going to get a set of Scale Art. I'm glad you like the parts I have chosen. Ed

WOW Ed,

You've been busy ! The fenders and grille are impressive, to say the least. You're definitely keeping Alcoa happy with all the aluminum you are going to bolt on this rig.

2 Questions for ya

1 - Are those tank straps from Scale-Art, or are they your own doing?

2 - Why is a guy who machines his own grille, and "wheels" his own fenders having someone else make his trailer for him? LOL

Keep up the great work sir

Rick yes those are Scale Art tank straps. The air bags I got from Germany. The tractor and trailer will ride on air and the tractor will have a third axle. The trailer will be a quad axle on air. The fender I did my self. The grill I had water jetted and the wheels I got from GTD CNC because they were the only people that I could get a matching set with flotation or as some call them super singles. The dump trailer has a water jetted sub frame under the box and tail gate and the aluminum tub and stainless sides and tail gate I had to have them bent up by a fabrication shop I don't have anything to form 31 1/2 inches then I am bolting it together. I still have to machine the I beam frame rails out of aluminum for the trailer and I will do that my self. Ed
