Re: 1:12 MMRS Demonstrator
I orignally had a very different construction method but really didn't like the way it was coming a long. I wanted to make it from brass and solder it together but it was proving difficult with limited machening tools avaible, so hears what i had before scaping it and moveing to full alli.

Re: 1:12 MMRS Demonstrator
This is the 1st day i had everything sufficently together to run my 1st test. A major problem i discovered here was because of my design i had needed to lengthen the dog bones by 2mm and the toque in the drive was snaping them at the joins. As it turns out i no longer have a pic of my shotty workmanship in this case. |

Re: 1:12 MMRS Demonstrator
There are some of the pre-fab parts i found suited my needs Im useing this RC4WD 1/10 Scale AX2 2 Speed Transmission/Axial Wraith/SCX10/Honcho RWDZ-U0006 and added a 1:3 planetary with a 13 turn 3000kv bushless ( will prob upgrade this in future) |

Re: 1:12 MMRS Demonstrator
New 120amp ESC came a few days ago and was finally able to see the truck running
Ended up having to make a few upgrades like new 20kg steering servos on the front and back and make solid alloy steering arms while i was at it. Also upgraded drive shaft to stainless steel from brass |
