Default 4200XL v1.5 - Hydraulic Cylinders Repair or Replace?

Hi all,

I have a couple slightly leaking hydraulic cylinders on my 4200XL which are slowly getting worse. I'm wondering how do you rebuild them and if they can be rebuilt where to you get the seals etc?

If they cant be rebuilt instead of buying the standard replacement ones has anyone replaced them with better ones which fit perfectly? If they have do you have any photos?

Many thanks in advance

Hi not sure if you moved ahead with your cylinder repairs. I contacted rc4wd about one of my main rams is weeping a bit. To rebuild them they can be taken apart and new o rings installed. I will be doing mine once I get home from work hopefully unless the wife has a list.

Efroeh, did you just grab an O ring pack from rc4wd or did you request just cylinder o rings from them? Good to know for the future in case any of my cylinders start leaking.

I have a case of different sized o rings and if none work I'll track some down locally.
