Sabertooth Motor Controllers?
I was going to order a few more of the 5a dual motor controllers but,
Has the price gone up or am I getting old? It has been a few years since I ordered them. Is there a "best" place to order these from? I first searched Amazon but the price was higher that the same shop directly from their web site. Is sabertooth the only game in town or are there other solutions available these days? I did see a hobbyking dual motor controller, but I don't think it is the same animal? Looked like it only had ONE RX plug on it, meaning that it just runs two motors from one input? Thanks for your feedback! Jim |

Re: Sabertooth Motor Controllers?
Have you looked at Dimension Engineering web site? (Hard to tell from post) They are the manufacturer, and have more than one kind. Quality stuff though. That's my go to. Price might of gone up a little? But they did improve them over time. My 2 cents.

Re: Sabertooth Motor Controllers?
Ya, that's where I got them the last time. Probably just do that again. Just wanted to see if there was anything else people are using or if there was anything new.

Re: Sabertooth Motor Controllers?
They have gone up a lot in the last 5 years. The very first 2x12 I bought from Robot Shop in Canada cost me $50 and they are now just short of $90! I realize that some of the price increase is due to our dollar being worth less compared to the USD but not all of it. I still buy them because I like how they work but it stings a lot more! I think I have 14 of them in models and have only had 1 failure that wasn't my fault.
