To polish all the aluminum strips I believe I started with 400 grit paper and gradually used finer and finer paper until it looked nice then I used my electric drill with a buffing wheel attachment and some Mothers aluminum polish to give it a nice shine.

So what is the trailers overall length now? Also what are the tires made of are they hard plastic or rubber?

The tires feel like a combo of the two, they are actually pretty nice being that the trailer sells for 20 bucks.
