Here's what I have got done with the support legs. The first picture shows the insides of the mechanism. The push and pull wires and the hydraulic tubing are not shown.

I have never felt the need to hone the cylinders, the pipe I've been using has very smooth surface, it's almost like a mirror finish.

Wow!! Blown away by your work Sir... Those tiny welds done by the jewelers welder are perfect for this scale, just perfect and your design and machine skills are inspiring. Thanks for posting this masterpiece!!
