Hi from Gloucestershire, England
Hi all,
I have watched endless videos of construction equipment over many years now and long to own one but have no idea where to start. Most of you guys seem to be engineers with lathes and workshops, able to turn and produce these models from scratch. It is fantastic to watch. Where does a beginner begin? Like most, I don't have 5k to spend on a pre produced model so would need to build my own. I would never take on a full build from scratch but have seen a plastic Bruder skid steer conversion on the forums. This seems like a good place to start to get an idea of the basic principals involved. Is it? Could someone advise of the basics, best budget radio, servos etc that will do the job. Sorry, it of a heavy first post but dying to get going!! thanks all. |

Re: Hi from Gloucestershire, England
Take your time and browse through the board, you will find a lot of information. There's probably someone on here that's done a skid steer conversion.
Nice to have another member from "across the pond"
