Default Caterpillar

Finally taking a much needed vacation next week. Starting off on the right foot and stopping for a tour of Cat track tractor plant in Peoria, then off to Texas to shoot some pigs.

Too bad Cat doesn't allow cameras or I would fill a thread with pics...

Hey pugs, I did the same tour in 1979, well worth the trip. Had my picture taken sitting in a D-10.

Texas? Any chance to go hunting with Ted Nuggent?
Have fun. Cheer's, Neil.

I was at one of our Antique Caterpillar events in Peoria in 2000, but couldn't go on a tour because my son was only 7. That's too bad, how can a big company get kids interested in working for them if they don't open their doors. I did have some Cat engineers come up to me at the show and were watching him run his little D1 dozer and they told me to tell him to come back when he's 21.
Have you ever seen a video on pig hunting called: "Heli Hoggin"? I dont have the link handy on this computer.

Well, hunt was fun. The Cat tour was awesome, highly recommend to anyone going near Peoria to check it out. Just need to reserve a spot a week or so ahead of time.
