Default Pumper Rescue

Really didn't want to do another thread on this, but incase there are members here that have not seen it, here goes.

Started with tamiya Aeromax

Stripped it down

Converted to single axel

Whipped up a quick body, and figured out cab design

Few hours sanding filling and primer had the cab done

This build has always amazed me. Looks real! What type of paint are you using to simulate the chrome on the bumpers and other parts?

this is one that needs a before and after picture placed in a new category on this forum

one that has nothing but one before and after picture and a link to the build

Thanks Freddy, pump panel is still not done, few more details to add and I have allready replaced all the decals with new high resolution ones, like everything on this truck it was a lot of work as you can't buy any of these detail parts, everything os scratch built.

I have lots of pics of the ladder, I will start a thread on that once this one is finished and I get back to work on it, it was actually the first one I did, the pumper is now #4 so the details are getting better and there are a number of things I want to change on the ladder.

The paint is called Liquid chrome and I got it thru Eastwood, stupid expensive and very difficult to get good results.

The ladder build is over at scale in the top builds section. Read it, it is worth all the pages. Thanks for posting this one here too Fish!
