You've done yourself proud with this build Greg.
Have you scored a pump/valves for it yet? |

I built in 1/14 scale, I don't have pump, spools and battery in yet, but it will be close to my other D8, around 30 lbs. I used the same motors as the other Cat as well, lots of power, 400 in/oz per side, drawback is that they are loud.. http://servocity.com/html/dayton_gear_motors__12v_.html Deereman : I get the chain made up that way, it came from China greg |

Re: RCLogger
Thanks Greg..
You are about 1/2 the size of my D8 which is in 1/7..I had thought about making something in about 1/14 or 1/2 but needed to know what type of motors you were using.. BTW, the winch motor that I used for my dozer is very similar to your motors and it too has a loud gear noise to it... The reason I made mine in 1/7 was to accomodate the Denso angle drive window motors...They are very quiet, but large, about 7 inches long.. Jerry |

Re: RCLogger
Hi Greg,
Looks fantastic with paint on it... can I ask if you painted it with rattle cans or spray gun and compressor? Thanks Elliot

Great job I like seeing more and more construction equipment being built and watching you guys build these great models makes me want to build my own wheel loader.
