Looks good Ari ..That looks as though its pretty packed earth you were digging in ..A good test ...im sure it could well compete with the bigger fumotech models ..And just in time for the warmer weather ..Are you almost ready to tear it down and give it a coat of paint ?

![]() The ground was quite hard packed. That's my parents yard i'm digging, and my dad told me that that spot has not been touched in 20 years. There's still work to do with the cab, I'm about to purchase a tig welder to get that done. So here's the video I promise, as many of you have noticed ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBerCOj14-w

That's great! Looks like it's time to install a new water line, phone line, or sprinkler system now that the hand shovel is obsolete

Very nice Ari! Seeing you add finishing touches like that makes me wish I had done more detail work on my Volvo. I'm always afraid that stuff like that will get damaged while carrying it around. I guess it won't get hurt while it's just sitting on the shelf beside your grader...

And about those details, they really are fragile, made of 2mm brass rod they bend quite easy ![]() The carrying it is the most dangerous moment for the details, it's so heavy you have to keep it close to your body and everything that sticks out might get damaged ![]()

I think I would enjoy playing with my models if someone else was around to join in the fun. I don't really live near anybody that's into this so it's always just me by myself and I get bored really quickly. When I'm in the shop though I want to be left alone so that I can concentrate! My Volvo fits in the trunk of my car but you have to tip it over quite a bit to get it through the opening. If it had detail like yours it would most certainly get wrecked. I have too many big models to move now though so I guess I will be using the pickup truck from now on. Lots of room there but wide open to the elements and burns fuel like it's going out of style!
