The Globe was crawling around pretty good in the excellent dirt. The ESC finally gave up after 25 years of abuse.

Great I live in NW CT You're welcome to drop in. If you can schedule a meeting around Cabin Fever I'll make sure the logistic will work for you. Transport, Hotel, etc. if needed.

It looked great out on the pile!

Not a stupid question at all. Thanks for asking. Most of the transport is done on the road......when you come to a construction site things get a lil tricky. Some sites spend a bit of planning and grade a decent entry some don't. In this case i was a bit curious how well or not this setup could access different arias. I got stuck a few times....ugh ! The bumper on The front of The BO-Dog is a bit to low for off road. and just standard Tamiya axles and tires does work quite well. Next time you see this one, it will be equipped with Lesu axles and diff lock. New Motor and ESC is also needed. Flaggs and marking in general was missing....Running out of time as usual before a meet. When moving things on special permit things get a bit interesting an some normal rules goes out the windows. The extension-rod on the truck is retractable by a little motor under the frame, so i can pull normal trailers too. Hope this clear some of the questions.

Pretty much what i did to this Globe. Interesting to find out how things functioning or not over time.
The more you care when you build the truck the longer it last.
However there is a problem with quality of casting plastic parts. For some reason the same part from different kits, one can fall apart and the other is strong and good. On the other side i don't think Tamiya could imagine what we do to our trucks when they started this back in the day.

Hey Joe.
After inspection of the Globe. I found out several problems.
1. Four days before Cabin Fever i purchased a brand new 4 Ch Spektrum Receiver to get one more funktion for the Rod/drawbar to retract when i pull regular trailers. That stopped working in reverse.
2. The ESC witch is a Novak Super Rooster had a cracked solder.
So now it is fixed, solder the board in the ESC and one new receiver. No cost just i tiny bit of work...........Life is good ! Back to the Tamuder and finish that one.
