I'm getting some more of these done this coming week if anyone else is interested.

I also just setup this one with a Garden Trucking pintle hitch. The hitch comes setup with the chains installed on the truck side so I made up some rings on the bumper to change it around to the correct setup. I also drilled two sets of mounting holes with a 4mm offset to adjust the height if necessary. I'm not sure if it's visible in the photos but the hook on the left is much larger than the one on the right. Not sure what happened there

In the pics above, where the small jam nut is, on the pintle eyelet, can you custom make one that would be 5 inches long, from that nut? I need a compensator for a PNW stylr logging truck I will be building this winter. I think.......................there I go thinking again...............IF I did math right (NOT good at math) 5 inches, in 1/14 scale should equal 9 feet of real life?

I ONLY need/want the farthest away from the eye, the last quarte of an inch threaded. The rest would need to be smooth.

I didn't make the pintle hitch. It is from Garden Trucking(Precision Model Distributors).

OK! I will drop it off to be coated on Tuesday(black right?). It's a holiday here tomorrow for the privileged people that have Monday to Friday type jobs. Hopefully I will have it back before the end of the week.

Are you sure you want gloss? All the rest are velvet black(semi gloss) and that matches stock frame rails very well.

Depending on the thread of the pintle why not try some aluminum rods like rock crawlers use for links?

5" in 1/14 is 5.8 feet.
7.714" in 1/14 is 9 feet or 195mm

http://www.axialracing.com/products/ax30518 so if the lunette ring uses m3 x.5 then 2 of these would work, and get a m3 setscrew to connect them for 196mm.

I carried the backing plates over from my PMD hangers and the mudflaps are from ExClusive RC, it all fits together perfect. I'm very happy Reg!
