Nice! The thought of buying a ready to run or sort of ready to run machine gets pretty tempting sometimes ... but somehow I resist.

Are you going to make any big changes to it, style wise or keep it a Liebherr / Deere?

With the way that dozer is styled, not much more work to make it a new Cat D7E!

Well I could not resist working on the dozer so here is a little progress up date.

Parts that are primed and painted.

Parts in primer waiting to be painted.

I ordered the rest of the fittings I need and if they are here buy the weekend it may be up and running.

Thanks for looking.

Cab parts

Hyd Cylinders

Extra hardware for assembly.

Travis, Paint job is coming along nicely and it going to be a nice machine. I see on your bench a mixing container so you must buy your paint by the quart. Have you ever tried the Cat rattle cans and if so, how well do they work? One other question if you don't mind is, do you make your own decals or have a custom supplier?
Thanks Rob

As for the dozer it is a rattle can job the mixing container is for the paint used on the trucks. The CAT paint you buy that has to be mixed is way to expensive even with my discount, the rattle cans cost me $6 a piece.

I have not had any decals made yet but there is a place that is right across the street from my hobby shop that wraps cars and they said they would make me some, so I will have to take them some pics and see what they can do.

The CAT rattle cans are really nice for what they are.

looks great Travy , but why did you put the tracks opposite of what we talked about last night ? you need my ears ? grouser to the front as you sit in the seat facing the engine looking at the top of the tracks unless my eyes are gettin real bad .

or is this a new style dozer with a ripper in the front
