Re: Bruder 320 conversion with 3d printed parts
I do indeed live in Nebraska, in Lincoln. Sadly I have not made a bit of progress on the bruder in almost a year, it just sits on a shelf. Maybe this winter when it is snowing I will regain interest!

Re: Bruder 320 conversion with 3d printed parts
I did find the STL files for the parts recently. If you still want them shoot me a message with your email address and I will send them to you so that you can have a go at printing them!

Re: Bruder 320 conversion with 3d printed parts
This build is very smart and I love the 3D printing approach to these. Its a great way to start converting these realistic models fairly cheap. It helps people without the metal fabing xp get involved in a great hobby. I hope to see you pick this project back up because I"m sure it will impress.

Re: Bruder 320 conversion with 3d printed parts
Thanks for the Kind words. I actually just bought an all metal Huina electric excavator last week and although it is slightly smaller than the bruder at almost 20 lbs it far exceeds anything that I could have ever accomplished with the plastic Bruder. Sadly this will likely never get revisited or completed, it may be time to consider selling it as it sets minus the hydraulics and let someone else see it thru to completion. Thanks again for the kind comments. It was a lot of fun to model and make the parts from scratch. https://photos.app.goo.gl/nTvYCRHoUkPXjKgM7

Re: Bruder 320 conversion with 3d printed parts
I have sold the model to another member here who will see the build through to completion. I just uploaded all of the files that I used to 3d print the required parts over on thingiverse so that anyone who wants them can download them and play around with the parts. Here is a link.
