As I was cleaning up around the steel plant I found a section of weeping tile buried in the leaves so I put some of it to good use
![]() happy enough with the layout, I think it's time for some paint for the concrete stacks and some doors and windows on the buildings. Maybe I'm just retarded and convincing myself it looks ok? ![]() ![]() ![]() one thing is for sure, it looks a heck of a lot better than the waste pile of brush and concrete that it was. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks RW! I've seen those but never thought of it
![]() ![]() ![]() All I need to do now is figure out how to make the stacks smoke. I'm thinking a whole bunch of incense or something in a bowl sitting on top of concrete pillars then slip pipe over and voila? |

"Incense" hey? I was actually thinking that the one "apparatus" looked like a giant bong already. You know, the one with the bowl half buried.lol

Turns out, all I had to do was let nature take its course! No need to plant trees because I got natural stuff coming up right along the road.
![]() Couldn't have planned it any better. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And here are the spots I could use a bridge or two. Would be nice right along the wood pile stretch and want to go between the trees behind the scale shack up towards the truck shop stretch of road. ![]() Notice the root patch I'm trying to avoid Bo ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hey Mario. What is the "official" name of the small town. Im starting woodworking the week after next, Building beams and bridges.
Do you mind if i steal a five pictures and do some sketches on them just to make sure we talk the same language sort of ? and i kind of want to know the level in hight from road to road and obstacle course. I think i can drive the KH Beam Hauler most everywhere in you're town ![]() |

I've been trying to think of a good name for a long time now. Came up with a few but none jump out and say that's it!
A friend suggested Foxville due to the fact there are 3 foxes that walk through and play in our yard almost on a daily basis so that's the name for now? I'm thinking when everyone is here in August and we are all sitting around playing at 2 in the morning, somebody is going to blurt out the perfect name for the town. ![]() ![]() By all means go ahead and play with pics. just to keep things simple I figure bridges just to span rough terrain and not actually high enough to drive under them? High elevation bridge means more room required to ramp the road up to them? No real height requirements just whatever works best for the bridge building. Looking at the lay of the land and largest root height I figure need about 3" of elevation atleast? After watching how well your beam float maneuvers around, I agree you shouldn't have any problems getting around the majority of the yard. ![]() |

![]() This year I'm going to let more of the clover and small oak trees that sprout up live. The last few years I just ripped everything out but it's nice to have a bit of greenery here n there. ![]() Thank you my friend. I'm really excited this season and happy with how things are looking after 3 years now. It's coming to life. ![]() ![]() |

I decided to take a break from working on Foxville and plastic buildings. Finally looked at the bruder dozer I have long enough and figured it was a good time to finally bring this one to life.
More plastic work but it was fun. Lots of room in these and the plastic is tough but easy to work with. Just tested yesterday for first time and results are good. ![]() Enough talk, some pics..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And a few videos of first testing. https://youtu.be/EXaNl8lch3E https://youtu.be/qWU57_KjdAQ |
