Right after, I de-chromed 50 pairs of rims. No, I have no clue, all of sudden they were there, on the evil buy. I think a year or two on the market by now.

Loving all your builds!
How did you mount the flatbed on your fifth wheel? Any pics of the underside? |

Thanks for that Bo!
Quite similar to how I set up my 1:1 truck, I normally strap a sleeper under the rear end to support the back and stop it bouncing. https://flic.kr/p/o8M4fb I was thinking swappable bodies would cut down on the amount of trucks i'd need to build haha! |

Skeeter. The buildup started on Monday, I came in at noon on Tuesday, worked with the guys setting up until Thursday night. The show started on Friday morning and lasted until Sunday afternoon. A perfect three-day show.

Perhaps for 2021 I may attend this event. I'd really like to find an event nearer to Sept/Oct time frame, but this event might work out.
For logistics, how do you get your model to the event safely, & in time for the event? |

Skeeter. That sounds great — my recipe for traveling.
Pack your bags well. No Cab's mounted in the chassis, EVER! [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() Rent a bigger car if needed! [IMG] ![]() Drive to the airport, longterm parking, shuttle to the departure hall. Check-in you're prepaid bags. Always Prepay your bags, they will charge an arm and two legs at the airport if you don't. Do not have a layover, (risk for delayed bags) Take a direct flight, and drive to the destination, even if you could have changed flight and landed closer, I've tried that, it did not work out well. Do NOT have any batteries what so ever in the checked luggage!!! Place all batteries in a carry-on bag. And tell the officer at the security you have batteries, they want to check all of them for explosives, Leave the AA batteries at home, get new fresh ones at the destination. If you have just a tiny cell in the checked bags, they will find it, and your bag will be searched and also delayed. Make sure you have good insurance, and I mean Good. A good carrier makes your journey so much easier. [IMG] ![]() This guys are very helpful with an oversized carry-on. ![]() Please let me know if I can help further with any tips. |

Those german shows always look so amazing! Looks like it was a blast
That 'traveling with trucks' might make a pretty good stickied post on it's own
