I honestly don't remember where the "blades" came from but I had it stashed away in a margarine container for about 30 years. The rest of it was whipped up in about an hour and a half by yours truly.

It looks AWESOME! One similar to it would look good in logging truck I'll be building this winter. If you find em, or hear of anyone that's selling 'em, PLEASE let me know

If you can make the motor, mount and cage, I'm sure you could also make the blades. I just used this plastic thing because I had it. An added bonus of using it was that I could justify my hoarding to my wife...😎

I decided I should do a dirt test before finishing up the fab and paint.

Reg,
Absolute work of art mate. How many hours have you invested in the build so far? Cheers Paul. ![]() |

Haha, It's starting to look a lot different now. By the end of today I should have parts spread all over the yard. I just hope the wind dies down as it's not very nice for outdoor painting right now.

Hopefully I'll have some "finished" pics in a week or so... |

I'm going to miss the bright aluminum showing off your craftsmanship, but it's going to look great in paint.

I will miss it too! It will have a lot more "realism" once it's painted though so that's important. Now that the paint has been flying I can't wait to see it reassembled and sitting on the fender of the real truck. |

Thanks for the compliment Jason. It has been all painted up for nearly a week now. I've been sitting on the updates though until after Saturday when I hand it over to it rightful owner.

Well she's all finished up. I won't bother posting many pictures as they are just going to disappear in a few months anyway but here are a few...
