Well here is an update today I drilled the new frame rails and made and mounted the lift axle and also widened some front rims for super single tires. Here are some pics of the progress.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Ben the rims were widened by cutting the outside bead off of an outside rear rim and gluing it to the outside of the front rim.

Nate that was the box for the rear axle in the L Model Mack wrecker and no problem it is good to see some people really check out the pics never know when you might see some interesting or an idea for a build.

Ya I wish they made a knock off of the Knight Hauler cus I need a cab to cut up and it can get expensive to get just the cab and all the chrome. Might as well just by the whole kit.

Thanks Brian I just wanted something different and simple at the same time after my big green King hauler and the T800 I wanted to stay away from a lot of body work.

The axle will be lifted by a servo but the way I set up the lift it will float in the lowered position allowing the drives to stay on the ground and keep traction.
