Default Losi dbxl electric

Hello I'm not sure if any of the members are into other rc vehicles. But I see losi came out with a electric version dbxl 1/5 scale rc looks to be pretty impressive 8s capable 50 MPh top speed. Looks like the traxxas x maxx has some compition.

Thumbs up Re: Losi dbxl electric

I know electric rc's are quicker but when it come's to 1/5 scale for me it has to be gas powered. When you hit that throttle The sound they make when piped is awesome! I have a losi five-t with zenoah g320rc and bartolone pipe. Redcat rampage MT with Scott Finlay pro mx g340 and jetpro pipe.

I agree with the sound and smell of a gas 5th scale. But the electric is fun. I know some one that has a electric Baja that rips hard on 8s. I have a losi 5ive t with a 30cc and piped that I just took apart and doing a once over.

That's not my speed, but it's cool. I like the scale aspect, and that it doesn't run fuel so no carb tuning and quieter so it won't annoy the neighbors breaking speedlimits in your yard

How much would the 8s lipo and a charger capible of pushing it end up?

It's still scale, and i play fairly well with others, most of the time...

It be hard to say, would be better with 2 4s battery in series then you could have a less expensive charger. But with battery for that size of machine would want huge mah and c rating to push that heavy rig and keep going for a decent amount of time. I have a I charger 308 duo and really enjoy it.
