Talking Tonka Grader

Here is my new project. Just testing so far and it seems to work good so now I am on teardown and modify mode. I have all of the parts ordered to finish it and should have some progress pics by the middle of the week.

So cool, this summer my wife bought several vintage Tonka's. A grader like this is in the mix. I am planning to do up whole fleet of Tonka's budget building all of them.

Here are a couple update pics of the almost finished grader. The drive works good and the two Firgelli's work great on controlling the blade but the steering still needs some fine tuning but overall it works good. It should be fun trying it out at the next show at Monticello.

I just picked up a Tonka grader the other day.

Do you have any other pictures or updates to share? I don't know when I might get started on mine?

Based on the short shot of this at the meet, it looks like it did pretty good!
