Well with heat issues if any arise would you be able to take a small pc or hobby fan and run it to help cool down the electronics? like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/HOBBYWING-RC...item3f21eee013
I would think with a few cuts on the outside and the fan could bring air in or out to help keep it cool?

Thanks Aaron. You might be onto something with that fan. By the looks of the dimensions 30mmX 30mm. It would fit. The location of motor n pump is near the rear axle , I think I could drill a bunch of holes under the rear fender behind the steps on each side so the fan could move the air through and you wouldn't even see the holes.

Hey All.
Small update on the loader. haven't been able to do much, busy with Mama Sues truck but managed to get er up on the table the other day. Found a leak on the return line fitting @ the tank so figured I would do an oil change ( antifreeze actually ) and see if I can reseal.
The cheap lookin exhaust stack was suddenly bugging me and I wondered what I could do to spruce it up a bit. Turns out the diameter of a stock Tamiya stack is a perfect fit! I cut off the bend in the pipe and the fit is nice and snug.

sorry, that's it. I guess I justed wanted to share the shiny new stack?

Sorry Floyd, It came from Spain. Total cost to my door was 1,000 bucks Canadian . Think of it this way. When I bought my first truck it cost me 650 for the truck and 320 for a MFU so same cost as a basic rig but its a plastics loader with hydraulics!

Been tinkering on and off for months now. Upgraded servos to metal gear type, new pump and motor. Had a steering servo horn strip at the Clifford show, now replaced with a metal version.
Just test running, checking for leaks etc before closing it up so thought I'd post a short video of where I'm at.

Thanks for looking.

Finally ! I can post a decent update on the bruder loader. I haven't touched it since last summer when a servo went mad. Finally ordered a few new servos and got it up and running again.
I'm very excited because after a couple hours fine tuning the system it's running great! No leaks no high heat, all good
