That loader and squirrel are awesome!

Keeping myself in check, I took a break from building and played with this thing for a bit while I fed some mosquitoes. It's actually a lot of fun for a light weight toy. I can see why people convert these things.

Seems like the operator has been behind some CAT controls before a time or two eh? Good job on the conversion Reg.

A little but not a whole bunch. I guess I've put over 1000hrs on my Kubota since I bought it but I don't know much. I just pull levers and hope for the best.lol

I filmed a short in cab video tonight. The camera really picked up the noise so turn the volume down if you don't enjoy horrible noise.

Thanks Mark. I'm not sure why the other link was copied and pasted. It happened once and I caught it and thought I had fixed it. I guess we all know what happened to the guy that thought...

That Euc is a big girl! That must have been later on when they were owned by Hitachi or something?

Probably never. We haven't had snow here for 4 winters in a row! Cool toy though.

With the nice weather I have been trying to spend more time outside of the shop. This thing hadn't been run in two years so I had to clean the carb(more than once), drain the fuel and so on just to get it running. I haven't messed with these things much in years but it had a pretty serious bog off idle before so while I was playing mechanic I started trying some different jetting. It's a bit fat at full throttle(me too) but I have it running pretty good now.

Not really anything to do with "the compound" but I insured this yesterday for the first time in a couple of years. I went for a 50K logging road/trail ride today and did one yesterday too. Both rides were only about two hours a piece but it was great to be back on this thing! Good times...

I've either been in the shop way too much or I need to go back.lol

We had some snow over the last week but normal weather has come back and now the snow is gone. This was the first time since 2010 that we've had enough to actually play in here at our place so I was in a mad dash to run as much stuff as I could in the snow as it built up. THe snow eventually got too deep for anything other than the Tigercat. I was amazed at how well it plowed snow!

Here are a few videos from the days play in the snow.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLZDtJeeMl4

I didn't get far in this one as the snow was getting pretty deep for 1/14.

After the Hayes got stuck I was running out of options so I brought out the Tigercat 630D

After a fair bit of positive harassment from my wife, she convinced me to get the pit bikes going for some laps in the field.

Thanks for looking!

Good to see you are making it through the winter Reg, started to think you were like the bears and went and found a hole to hibernate in until spring ! !

Great photo's of the Logging operation... Did you use a drone for those shots ? looks like full size machines. Trees sure are big on the South end of the Island.. haahah
