Default esc switch question

Hi, I have three esc's to run tracks and swing on my excavator, they each came with a small on off switch attached. Is this switch necessary or can it be eliminated by soldering two wires together and removing switch?
Thanks
Terry

The switches can be eliminated like that with no problem.

I would leave a switch installed on whichever one is powering the rx, just so the machine won't go live as soon as you connect a battery.

Also did you pull the red rx leads on the non-power escs?

Thanks for your reply Frizzen, I did cut the redwire on all three, I have another esc for my pump motor that does the receiver charge.
