Default Steiger loader,with Biddles vid!

Well, have a couple of tractors sitting around & figured. What would happen If I flipped the interior around in the cab & maybe but a bucket on er?
So this is what I'm thinkin.

The plan is to make a new hood a little shorter & wider.move the exhaust,& do a bit-o-butchin on the cab.
She's no gunna look perfect to a 1:1.Put a can of cat yellow on er. I think it will look just fine. My main goal here is to load dirt.Cheap!
Just happen to have an old alum axle layin around & figured this baby will take the weight hangin out front.

Then butched in a 350 axle for the rear.

The trany is a PMD tranfercase bolted to a carson gear reduced motor.

Now the loader arms.

Thanks for lookin!

I agree! Very clever! And it's already looking really good too. You don't waste much time, when designing and building on the fly, do you? Is it going to be hydraulic?

Very cool Freddy, I like the green, kind of Terex or Euclid looking. I would no like to be the fuel man for your rig though, not easy to get to. The aluminum wheels are a very nice touch, not as cool as spinners would be but still very cool.

Freddy you never cease to amaze. I never thought about turning the Ford around and seeing a loader in it but now that I sit here staring at yours it makes me want to give it a go. Can't wait to see what you make out with for this machine.

Are you sure you were not a equipment designer a few years back, because I am sure that is how the wheel loader came to be. Someone was laying in bed and said ( What IF I SPIN THE CAB AROUND ON THAT OLD TRACTOR AND PUT A BUCKET ON IT ) ! ! LOL

Great work agian Freddy...

The back of the cab looks wrong leaning out. Straight up would be better in my eyes. It does look great though. Very scale though.

What a change! That looks really cool! I would have never though a Steiger would have been a good base for a wheel loader. The rear hood look great, and I think the cab looks just fine with the posts leaning both ways. A lot of the older piece of a equipment had cabs a lot like that. Is it a Freddybuilt brand loader? Green paint would be a nice touch!

I like those rims and tires! I know where the rims came from, but the tires?

I would like one of the first Steiger wheel loaders! I think it looks great and you should keep with the Steiger paint colors it would be cool to see what one would of looked like if they did make one out of there parts..
