those are pretty neat! kinda misleading with the snorkels poking out of the water as to what is really going on underneath!

Interesting application by Komatsu. They are RC and diesel powered. Started with a D155A-1 and sealed all the compartments - engine was the toughest to do. Snorkel is a double-wall thing: exhaust goes up the middle and intake air goes down between exhaust and the outer wall. Actually came out in the mid-1980's, if a I remember correctly. Long-reach excavators have replaced most of the units but some are still operational. There are a couple of other videos on YouTube that show one dozer working around a commercial boat that is aground. A second dozer with diver had to retrieve the first unit after it broke down - diver hooked a tow cable between the two dozers.

They tried using mounted cameras but once the machines started operating the silt cloud made them useless.

So who is going to model this?????
