I just moved the frame of my 1930 Caterpillar Motor Patrol grader into the shop yesterday. I want to get it ready to be sand blasted so I can start the restoration.

This is gone be a great model.
Really like the high level of detail.
I am very comfortable with metal but with wood never in a 100 years i could do what you are doing.
Hard to believe there is wood under there , never thought you could finish that so smooth.
Keep us updated on this super project and thanks for the pics so far.

Looks great. You're not meticulous by chance are you (haha)? I can't wait to see this one full functioning and in person.

What servos are you using for the valve block?

that will be a good restoration project. I have loved mechanics all my life and the way intricate parts work together. It might take me a lil longer to build a model like this, but i try to make function as close to the real machine as possible.
