Did some hauling out from atop the wall this afternoon.

Within twenty minutes, it just killed my lower back to stand there next to the wall, so I put my stool on some shaky blocks... I never fell off, but I was real careful.

After doing a circle check for newborns, I stop thru the farm shop to fashion up a comfy safer accessory.

I should be using this right now for haulin, but there it sits since January waiting for a drive motor on the front left corner... the kid don't run the business as efficient as his ol' man did

Upload a new movie tonite from today's activities.

Hey Joe, more on the scraper Please! Are you going to pull it with one of your adt's?
That was one of Volvo's new product's, 3 yrs ago at Conexpo. Adt chassis for pulling can's.
Have you considered a mount for the camera on your stool?, then it could swivel with you and the seat. Just a thought. Yah I'm stiring the dust up again!

Neil, Joe Ayars built this pan for me... geez two yrs ago already. I was going to pull it with one of my dozers, but now I think I'll do it with my white globey. Just gotta change the hitch on it. It's toy for the outdoor park that I'll get too someday.

Joe Ayars had vids of the 1st pan he built & he pulled it with his stout diecast converted CaseIH & TJ Ford/New Holland 4wd tractors with clodbuster axles... I think the vids were loaded on his photobucket account & I don't have them bookmarked. I'm pretty sure he has a thread on Scale's Ag & Industrial Equip forum with his name as the title.

I don't swivel or even turn my head, just eyeball movement when I operate... half the time I can't see anyway from where I'm sitting & just feel it out.

good to see you are still making some headway Joe. I am looking a your chair setup, looks like you are sitting on a english saddle ! hahaah I think you need some sterps, seatbelt or a parachute on that set up. LOL

Regarding the ADT, can you just unhook the power to the u/s motor and run it with five motors ? A gear went on my ADT and I ran it for the weekend on five motors, hardly even noticed the power difference..

greg
p.s. ( not sure what that blue color in the sky is outside your house I haven't seen that in a few months ) 24 feet of snow now on the ground at the ski hill, they say that it has snowed a total of 57 feet so far ! ! I think it has rained about 20 feet this winter in town, time to start building a BOAT.

Your models must be the most used ones. Looks like they have to do a hard work.
Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm, never thought of that Greg. Though with these hi rpm 385 motors, there's alot of gear sets within the gear head, might cause alot drag, even with the motor pinion removed... it gives me an idea though, thanx for the suggestion.

Cheers Neil.

Thank you Jerry.

All great entertainment Dan. I'm looking forward to seeing you wear the paint off your's soon.

That blue color sky was short lived Greg, back to gray skies & flurries all this wk.

So with an equip move back to the lower level, start moving reserves to restock the wall for fast haul out when the sun does shine... someday again. (they say La Nina will be over sometime early June... can't wait!, it's been a brutal yr of excessive wet & cold)

Uh huh, baler twine is supporting most of the skyways, the other side is anchored to the wall.

There's three levels to climb to get to the top, total elevation is about six feet. The 1st level from the floor is about 12 degrees, 19 foot length to rise about 44 inches. The other two aren't quite as steep. I was in the basement when the trks were going in & out in that video. I don't trust my driving that much!

You bet Dean, and they work very well too! The Pajero duals sink in the loose soil, these TLT-1 floaters will back up & onto a dirtpile like the Volvo adt if the front steer axle is on hard ground.

Saved a few miles loading at mid level to restock the wall.

This rather stock Bruder trl adds alot of play value to my constr area, hauling equip to different areas, as well as different levels. Took the dozer from ground level to the wall top. Then backhauled the excav from mid level to the ground level to load out dirt from another area.

hey there Joe, do you have some sort of parking break on your white truck so that it doesn't roll downhill when you are loading it

Hello Zak, just flip the trans into 1st gear and the dual motors will hold it. This trk is far from being stock with lots of reduction, 6wd & dual 12v motors.
