Dang.....to bad they don't just introduce Ultra Magnus and get rid of all these modern looking semi trucks! Curious about that old Marmon COE though. Looks like it would make a better Otpimus Prime then anything else I've seen so far.

that is a great pick the two together very nice... The new cab over is megatron everyone knew that but the old pete cab over is the old optimums back from the dead the new optimums is that GOOFY look new IH with 3 turn out stacks on each side. A guy over on my face book page got some picks as they were filming 2 weeks ago as they are filming on his grandfathers land they had 2 of the OP semis and one of the old OP's sitting there and one Mega outght to be a great movie I think minus the International Joker Semi..

I havent got mine yet, but i think they're going to a problem to mount with his mounting method.
The chassis rails i used (from Joe) arent quite the same height as the stock ones, they're a fraction taller. I had to grind my fuel tank mounts to fit them. If the mount for the boxes is the same, they may not fit.
And, with the C clamp style he's used, they will be in the way for mounting the headache rack. They'll raise it by several mm, which will put it past the top of the roof of the sleeper.

From some of the pics of the small tool boxes, you can take the mounting bracket off and use its 2 mounting holes to mount it directly to the frame. Even add a spacer if you wanted.

yes like lynn said the c bracket is removable .i am removing mine and its easy to turn the c bracket around and use the holes as a guide to drill .i am mounting mine to the frame directly and eliminating the bracket altogether...i will be doing that some time today or tomorrow so i will post pics of it i am going to put a little slot on the holes as looking at the box the bracket is a little crooked and i want them to sit evenly

got the storage box installed ,just have to put a spacer between the frame and the box like lynn suggested .it will make room to attach the headache rack and oh by the way i lowered the headache rack as it sat abit too high so now it is almost level with the bunk like it should be...its getting there

The "new" OP is a Western Star (sister to a Freight-Shaker)

Here’s the official statement from Daimler, parent company of Western Star and Freightliner:

“Daimler Trucks North America is excited to collaborate with Paramount on Michael Bay’s forthcoming Transformers 4. This movie will feature a new truck now in development from Western Star that showcases the next level of innovation in the trucking industry. The new Western Star truck will be unveiled in 2014.” - OVERDRIVE MAGAZINE

Well, enough about the Western Star. Back on subject...

Dwayne, you've done a great job on the truck. I like how the boxes and the headache-rack seamlessly blend together. It's really a work of art.
