im assuming your using enamel not acrylic then? then i see what your saying the colors will kinda float on the top of the water..hmmm not a bad little trick i'll wait to see some step by step pics so i get it right!! Sounds pretty cool though... You know those decals would fit that sleeper pretty well just sayin. you could always get the decal sheets and print your own or have them made to like a vynal wrap in the size you want.. Little more pricey but worth it. look at Russ's toy hauler!!!

This might sound very unmasculine, but my fiancee showed me that paint trick, she does it on her nails, she made me watch the YouTube video of it being done where she learned how to do it.

Yes, i'll be using dupli-color. When I did the model cars, I used testors model paint. And it just so happens our daughter and her husband lives in Greenwood, In., and they are really close to a mall that has a lot of kiss merchindise. So when the wife and get up there, i'll see what I can find.
And yes, the paint floats.

Neil, not only have I seen it, I OWN A COPY!!! It is a hilarious movie.
I love the scene where thier in the basement "pretending to be kiss", that brings back memories of in my basement playing kiss tunes on the drums.

I actually did at one time in 1/25th scale did a KISS racing team set, if i remember where i put them i will post pics of them soon. Probally gonna have to fix some things on them i bet.

Well I got the first layer of bondo on, and it isn't pretty. So I figured while it was sitting up, i'd take pic's.









I don't know why, but the pic's makes the bondo look a lot thicker than it really is.

No problem buddy.. Now the main paint, i've done before, but it's all of the graphics i'm wanted to do. I don't have any places around me to get vinyl done, but our daughter and her husband live right across the street from a mall that has places like that. The only set back is they are three hours from us...but i'm dedicated to this project.

No Aaron I didn't, it was only 60 degrees and I didn't want to take a chance of the primer (dirty word) wrinkling. But soon I hope.

That thing is gonna be real beefy and I think it was a great idea to combine a King cab and a Knight sleeper/roof. Quite unique!
