Talking Delta Cat NEW Grapple Bucket..

Hi there guys sort of new to this section but I have been a closet builder for awhile now I did not see the since on showing something many have done but Scott "Small Haul" said I needed to get my builds up.. I did a bruder dozer 2 years ago and it is on the bench for a rework putting new motors and sabertooth esc and better servos but I am working on the forks for my delta today as i made a mistake and made the first ones all from brass so they are too heavy to use so the new ones will be made the same but from brass and plastic..

So here is the skid with the brass forks..

And here is the start of the new one..

Here is my play area too I will be changing it next weekend so we can use the sand master and crum rubber but we will still have the loading yard too..

I also will be doing a thread in my wheeled cat skid and I am looking at the mini cat payloader I think I can make that rc..

More to come on that..

That is it for now but it will be done today so check back..

Ok so took a extra bucket and cut off the hook ups off the bucket and fied them to the back of the forks mounting plate.

Then mounted the tubing on the inside of the instead of on the front like the old one. Also used tubing instead of brass rod.

Forks made out of 1/2 brass with 1/4x1/4 square tubing to allow them to slide.

And 2nd fork and its done just needs some black paint and its good to go..

Uploading? I was thinking about making this change as well. $65 a month for internet is painful.

Nice work on the skid steer and the forks are nice addition. How do you keep the load level through the motion?

Paul, the grapple is a very cool item! I'm amazed by how much power the small loaders have when converted to RC.
