Thumbs up Re: Now I'm gunna move some dirt.

Your looking real good there Fred now what are you going to pull it with? I know it will be Black and a tri axle going to need a lot of power. Ed

Fred, seems like the variety of trucks & trailers is endless...but you are trying to build them all! Awesome trailer and I'm sure the truck be equally cool. The 1:1 looks like a centipede - would hate to buy tires for it.

Yea Ed,it's a tri-axle.W/front drive axle. Kinda looks like this.

made the third axle so I can adjust spring tension.

Had to slip a cab & box on er,just to git the feelin.

Then to REALLY git the feelin, had to stick the trailer behind it

Just the idea of movin dirt w/this baby,& then the dust cloud from all the axles! Is makin me hawnee!
Yea Tc1, Kinda like the ribs better on the barb-o-que than on the sides of my trailer.Man that would look like real shyt w/a bunch of dirt stuck to it I made some & didn't like the way they turned out.It was really hard to keep them perfect. Plus would of ment a bunch more holes & screws. The shop I work w/wanted to tape them on
Thanks guys for the comments & complements

Fred - Where do you buy extra Tamiya parts? Like extra rear drive axle and your (looks like) F350 front drive axle?

I buy parts from all over, alot of them are from used rigs I purchase.
That front axle is a carson.I get them from pmd.
Guys thanks!
Well, got the screw drive done for truck.Went to install in truck & realized I made one for a trailer
So....had to make the right one.

The trailer drive is opposite from the truck.Kinda hard to install in truck when motor has to go where diffs are.Works much better this way.

Now all the little goodies to make it complete.
Thanks for lookin!

Wow,I git to post some build progress.
Thanks Guys!
Woodhog,I have a telascopic screw. But due to cost, decided to go this route.
Yu know Tc1cat,I was going to use the stock rims because a nice fellow builder gave me some inserts,so I could run supper singles on stock rims. But it was turnin into some thing w/the front drive.
Well now, actually got to do some buildin
She's just about ready fur some paint.

Thanks for lookin!

Fred question, the servo you use to shift the transmission what size are they and do you have any problem with them? They look small. I have to shift the transmission and the auxiliary and would like smaller servo for the room because I want to put one of those 1/12 cat motors in it. Ed
