Default Hello from Phoenix

I am relatively new to the hobby of RC scale, having started with Crawlers back in June. My first big project, still in process, is a 10x10 Oshkosh MMRS.
By education I am a Robotics Engineer, by trade Automaded System Engineer. I have been following large-scale RC construction equipment and crawlers for about 5 years now, and am looking to really dive in to it.

Cant wait to see some projects, most of us seem to have started in crawlers

Have you decided what you want to start with?

Yes, actually I've been working on an Oshkosh MMRS since about October. I'm stuck at the drivetrain though, trying to figure out the best way to do that and get all 4 steering servos hidden in the frame at the same time. The 1:1 uses independent suspension, and shallow shock-towers, so I'm wondering if I have to fabricate my own towers.

I am also trying to find a crane platform and outriggers so I don't have to fabricate them myself. I can, but I don't want to. (At 1:10 scale, which I'm building it at, exactly 1:10 off the blueprints, the crane boom is a 3-segment 20"-46" boom)

Aside from that, I've got a TRX-4 that I'm considering extending into a 6x6, and a Nightcrawler still stock.
