Check out the Gens ace 8400 lipo it's a tight fit but will give you over an hour of run time.

Talking about LiPo batteries, advice to hook up a separate LiPo alarm unit, set at 3.6V . Can make a expencive battery last longer/take more recharges. If the cell voltage drops bellow a certain value, there will be damage reducing the life quite much. ESC's ofte have cut-off function for LiPo's but it's usally put very low, like 2.8-3V, no good. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-8S-Lipo-Li...IAAOSw~uhUmqRp

Yeah you need a female XT60 to male TRX adapter. A normal lipo charger will do the trick as long as you order the Traxxas 8400 lipo battery with no ID connector like this

Don't order the battery with this connection

Hi,

A friend of mine runs a the Beier Electronic USM-RC-2 Sound unit in his 4200 xl,

http://www.beier-electronic.de/model...2/usm-rc-2.php

Just a quick note if you go to order one, buy it with the cd but with on the user manual as user manual that come with it is not in English and then just download the user manual you want off there website.

I also have this sound unit in my Truck and I love it, I ended up ordering my speaker and speaker box from the Australian Servonaut dealer Kevin from Csmi, http://www.csmi.com.au/

Regards Cameron.

Just a heads up, I couldn't fit those 8400 size batts in my "2.0" excavator. Not sure if they've moved the valve block or just mine is off but anything longer than 145-150mm in length will hit a fitting on the bottom of the valve block. You may want to hold off on the batts till yours arrives and measure to make sure. You can always use another/smaller batt you have laying around to do functions tests and goof around a bit till your big batts arrive.

It's a tight fit but has just enough room to seat properly.

Just measured my batt again and really it's more like 135mm or shorter. You may be able to jam a 140mm but I'd be afraid to pinch the line or mess with the fitting with time going in and out with the battery. This zippy is 136mm in length.

Looks to be that your Zippy battery is wider then the Gens ace. Could it be ?

Zippy's right there, at most 1 13/16" (46.4mm.) 1/16" less width would still hit fixture I'm thinking though. Could just be mount/installation of block machine to machine. Either way just don't want OP to buy batts that are a no go dimension wise.
