Default " Blackbird " my king hauler - Dump truck daycab

Hi everyone !!

I would like to share with you , my new project : a dump truck based on the Tamiya's king hauler.

here is the truck before the transformation :

In the first time , I have Take off all the electronics part and I have cut the sleeper. I took a part of the slepper to close the back of the cab.

I have buy a dump trailer for taking the dump part to put on the truck

I also started a full agencement of the cab

The roof :

The floor :

Next I have fill all the holes on the cab (not yet finished) :

I have also made a chassis for the dump

I continue on the cab interior

I need to finish the cab and start painting

The next will come very soon

See ya !!

Where are you going to put the electronics with the interior in the cab?

Just clicked on one of your pictures to get a better look at the bed you are using. Your photo hosting page locked my computer into a phishing page threatening to "lock" my computer unless I called an 800 number to get a "virus" corrected. Had to hard shutdown to get out of that page. Please check your photo host.

No problem, once I got out of that site all has been fine. Just wanted you to know it happened.

Looks like a pretty cool build you have going. I did a King Hauler conversion using a Bruder bed, but it was the larger squared off one, the half round looks really good. What type of lift system are you planning?

hi everyone !!!

I'm so sorry for you guys, I'll put the pics in wider size to escape the problem of "hacking"

I have bough some aluminum part from rigid RC (stack and reductor) + winter tires and a carson poison motor

In situation

There's some handmade front light for my truck , they are inspired from the pete378 front lights.

I have also started the details of the doors (interior parts)

If you ahve any question feel free to ask ^^

The next will come soon , see ya !!

Can you tell me more about the planetry box and its gearing / ratio, and would you have a shot of its inside,
Also can you get some pics when you mount it is, is it the same width as a truck frame or does it need up right support brackets ?

Cheers Tracy
