Those are some incredible steam models! Looks like you guys had a good time for sure.

What are the trucks on top of the dirt pile? Who made them?

Quite a show, sooo many models and things to look at.
The two trucks on the pile are old Eska (Ertl) IH Payhaulers.
You inspired me to build an old haul truck with your Euclid Reg, so I will be converting
these in the future.

Steve that tractor was built by my good friend Denny here in town. I was sure you guys would sure get a good look at it. We will have it here this comming weekend at our show as well. It is amazing what he has built. That is his 3rd tractor he has built all from scratch. They are true pieces of art.

Was it just the four of you this yr to wow the crowd? I don't see Jammer's hoe in the mix, he didn't make it? Scott must have gotten some more pics when everyone was around?

The devil's tower, is that the pile of dirt that was on top of the big pile Steve? You just push it over the edge or it haul it somewhere? Any pics of the pile at the end of the show, what did you do with it?

Ed was there but no excavator just the 777 and shovel . we had Probie and his uncle and Doug from east coast Benni came Sat. with his HK excavator . Devils tower was the piile in the middle behind the mack and the loader . I basically started making the bench for the dragline to walk to the trailer . The loader did well except for sticking valves . so if you see pics with me sittin next to it with the hood 1/2 open . I had to unstick the lift valve every so often I'm sure Steve and Scott will post they're pics later

I took a couple of videos but, they turned out shaky because i was only holding the camera with one hand (pulled something in my left arm and couldn't use it). Sorry for the poor video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOQgYLsK8LM

Their were only about 10 of us that showed up at the show but, we had a great time. The dinner that Cabin Fever Show provided for the vendors and exhibitors had some great food and an open bar. The dinner and beer was worth more than $10 exhibitor fee for the weekend...

Next year i'll show up earlier on Friday and plan on moving dirt late into the evening. We can stay late on Friday because it is auction night and they keep the doors open later.

Good to know. I will have to keep an eye out for one. I'm happy to hear that you are going to convert them and I'm looking forward to the build thread. They very much remind me of my old Euc! Even though I wasn't born yet I still like that old stuff better than the new equipment.

We are starting to uncover the coal seam.

Stevie's 990 is just about on top of it.

Finally paydirt! Ben came over to help clean some of the dirt away.

Carefully pull the dirt off of the seam.

Smallhaul came over with his fleet to start loading out some coal.

We finally get paid for our work.

Stevie back up top benching behind my dragline.

Wooden truck lowboy and excavator.

Overview of our play area. Kerst's fine crane models in the foreground.

Wow, those are some really nice photos Steve. Nice work!

Is that the same camera that takes the nice hi-def videos?

Great pictures steve-something looks very familiar but I can't be sure. Looks like the Cat has been in an accident. Hope the driver is okay. Everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves. Always wanted to make one of these shows but I guess that won't happen. Your dragline is looking better with each picture. To bad you cannot get more people involved in this show. It looks like it could become a premiere event in the U.S.,but I think you need a lot more construction machines to make it great. You are doing your part and that's all you can do.
