Default BIG BUD 16V-747

I picked this tractor up at INDY last weekend and other than a few changes and some finishing touches it is converted and driveable.

The drivetrain consits of Tamiya semi axles, Axial trans for a transfer case and an RC4WD R2 trans. The steering is done by a pair of firgelli actuators. I plan to add lights and servo outputs at the back for a future attachment.

Thanks for looking.
Travis

It is already converted. I picked it up cheap since the motor and a few other detail pieces were missing so it made a great candidate for a conversion. I hope your not a fan of the Carson drop deck trailers or you will be real upset when you see what I did to mine.

Cool model, Travis. How do you utilize the stock rims and tires, and bolt them to Tamiya axles? Custom hubs?

Thanks Nate, and yes I use custom hubs. For right now till I get something better made I am using 1/10 touring car rims as adapters. The size was almost perfect to fit in the rims.

On my other big bud tractor I used a set of hubs from Steve that he makes for his semi rims, I just had to mill off the stem for the moon cap. The stock rim had a cap on it that looked like a planetary which covered the mounting bolts and nut with no mods.

Thanks guys it does run as it is but I have some new parts for it when I get a chance to work on it. I was not happy with the drivetrain so I have new parts for that. I also need to make new wheel adapters.
