Making good progress Jason... though you'd better hustle it up some or you're miss the summer work season.

Glad you liked it. I started following him with my FWD. He did a four part blog on them and some of his truck pictures were ones that I drove off the end of the assembly line.

had a bit a of time last night so I thought I would get out the autocar and work on it some more. so here is what I did.
-reattached the cab roof and rough filled the gap where I split the roof.
-made panel for back of cab and cut out rear window.
-got the dremel out and lowered and reshaped the front window to look more round lke autocar.
-fabed up first section or front bunper. (just taped on on pic till I make bracket for mounting.)
and I wasn't happy with the front of the grill that I did do I took it out to remake it, just waiting on new mesh.

I am making slow progress, Just limited shop time right now and my fabing and styrene skills are slow too . here are some pics

thanks for looking.

Wow, that awesome. If that's the drive off the trans, it works real smooth. Maybe we'll get some gravel in it at the end of the month.

thanks Rob, I did try it off the trans and it did work but this is a new setup and I will be sticking with it, I am droping the 3 speed out and using a different sinigle speed tranny to save room and a channel on my radio for a couple other goodies I have planned. I not sure about hauling gravel yet but I am in the mood to build again so at least I am working on it

had a couple hours to work on the Autocar today so I got a few things done first I build and fitted the cab sheild then installed it to the Dump box.

then it was on to the rad grill peice I wasnt happy with the first on I built wrong shape needed to much work to make right ( old rad grill on pic above) so I decided to make a whole new one I cut and glued many layers of styrene together to form a block I could dremel and sand to the shape I wanted well as close as I can get with my limited skills. this is what I have so far

thanks for looking
