Default Tundra shift servo help needed

I just bought one of the Tamiya Toyota Tundras and I'm having an issue with the shift servo. I'm using a hi tec 645 nd it seems like it doesn't have enough oomph to shift it. And the servo horn keeps going off center it seems like the shaft that runs through the trams that the shift linkage connects to rolls and messes with the servo. Am I using a strong enough servo or is there something I'm missing. Any help would be appreciated

Dave

Default Re: Tundra shift servo help needed

I would start by checking the transmission it self, make sure it shifts smoothly on its own with out connection to servo. Also, I would go back to instruction manual and make sure everything assembled correctly.I built several Tundras and had no issues.
