Question Truck puller motor W/ MFCU-01

I recently purchased an LRP Truck puller 3 motor @6000RPM from Ric at PMD. This motor has adjustable timing which is a first for me. Will this be ok to use with the MFCU-01? I think the manual says to use the stock Tamiya motor, and the timing thing, I don't know anything about so guys I'm at your mercy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx, Big John

Leave the timing where it is at, it should be zero for equal fwd and rev power. Put it in and let it eat. You can go with a higher turn low rpm motor and you will be fine just don't go low turn with high rpm or you will cook the MFU.

Thank you so much Travis. Cooking the MFU would definitely be a bad day.
